Director of Finance

Jayme Summers is a proud mom of two—Albany and Ryman—and has been married to her husband, Dusty, for over 11 years. Based in Kingston, TN, she brings over 9 years of accounting experience, specializing in small business. Throughout her career, she has supported both nonprofit and for-profit organizations as they grow. Jayme currently serves full-time in ministry at her local church and has been involved with Arrows in the Sky since 2022, playing a part in its continued growth and impact. She is passionate about serving her community, supporting others, and living with a strong faith-based foundation.

Tamara Martin, MS.PS.

Co-Founder & Executive Director

Tamara Martin is a wife, mother, professional, and passionate servant to the mission of Arrows in the Sky. She and her husband, Alex, co-founded the organization following the heartbreaking loss of their first child, Poppy. From a young age, Tamara felt called to a greater purpose—though she never imagined it would arise from such profound pain.

Professionally, Tamara has nearly 9 years of experience in Early Development Clinical Research, specializing in Innovation and Standards within Statistics and Programming. Though she never anticipated becoming a statistic herself, her personal experience with loss has deepened her commitment to serving others.

Today, she is proud to show her children what it means to live a life of purpose—one that uplifts others both in her local community and across the nation. Through Arrows in the Sky, Tamara combines her professional expertise with her heart for outreach, striving to expand the organization’s impact and reach as many families as possible.

Alex Martin, MBA

Co-Founder & Director of Operation

Alex Martin serves as the Director of Operations for Arrows in the Sky. Born and raised in Roane County and now living in Oak Ridge, TN, Alex is a lifelong lover of the outdoors and all things sports—from hiking and biking to fishing, hunting, and simply enjoying a walk with his family

He is a devoted husband to Tamara and proud father to Noaa, Ellis, and Poppy—who lives on in Heaven. After the loss of their first child, Alex experienced the deep pain of grief while also carrying the heavy weight of wanting to fix what felt unfixable for his wife. That season opened his eyes to the quiet burdens many fathers carry through pregnancy and infant loss. It’s this experience that now fuels his heart to reach and support other dads walking similar paths.

Professionally, Alex holds an MBA and works full-time serving the Valley through his role at the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). Within Arrows in the Sky, he brings structure, strength, and spirit to the team—leading operational efforts and playing a key role in fundraising and event execution. His leadership, grounded presence, and sense of humor are felt in every meeting, and his passion for this mission is woven into everything he does.
